Winter Update

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!  We pray many blessings on you all and your families, and we wish you many happy moments creating memories together.

We thank our Father for each and every one of you. Thank you for partnering with us and for your generous donations to our ministry. Thank you for faithfully holding us up in prayer as we are walking in faith and following the will of our Father.

Our trip south was a blessing to our family. We were able to reconnect with family and friends, as well as meet new friends.  We received donations from businesses and had several churches and individuals commit to partner with us and support our ministry.


  
The blankets we collected have arrived at the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation in South Dakota. In the end, we were able to collect about 20 blankets. These will be a huge blessing to those who receive them and can literally be the difference between life and death! Many thanks to those of you who generously donated!  
 
January Retreat

The weekend of January 6-8, we taught at a retreat for First Presbyterian Church in Palisades Park, NJ.

We shared about the importance of ministering to First Nations people, our ministry in Papua New Guinea, we ministered in music, and also taught on the prophetic significance of the Biblical Holidays. Michael shared a missions challenge during one of our teaching sessions as well!

Our goal all along has been to leave for Papua New Guinea in January(ish). We still believe God wants us to do that. Tom will be flying over on February 3rd to finalize paperwork for our visas and to secure housing in the capital city of Port Moresby. Jen, the kids, and Lexie (our co-worker), will follow as soon as our visas and housing are in place.  We are very excited and ready to begin this next chapter in our ministry!

Ways you can help….
Ticket Fund
We will need approximately $7,500 for our family to fly to Papua New Guinea.  Tickets are running about $1,500 per person and there are 5 of us.  Will you please consider donating to our ticket fund?  Your donations are tax deductible! 
 
Car Fund

Port Moresby is a very spread-out city and our ministry will require lots of driving. Pray with us about the provision of a used car. We’ll need about $10,000 USD to purchased a dependable, used SUV.

  • Safety and good health for Tom as he travels ahead of us.
  • For God’s provision of needed finances (plane tickets, vehicle, monthly support needs).
  • Stamina for Jenny as she packs up the house and finalizes things on this end.
