Meet Max, a teenager in Papua New Guinea who dreams of one day becoming an aircraft engineer. He is one of ten children in his family. He will be starting 10th grade this year. You can help students just like him to achieve their dreams and overcome obstacles by donating to our student fund.

Friends, we are deeply saddened to hear about the alarming situation unfolding in Port Moresby, the capital of Papua New Guinea. The government has called in the defense forces to restore order amid widespread violence and looting. Paramedics are treating victims of shootings and explosions, and the Australian High Commission has increased security measures.
This unrest started after public servants took to the streets to protest a significant pay shortfall, initially believed to be a tax increase, which the government has attributed to a payroll error.

Today is Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving. At Restoration International, we are devoted to restoring hope and building a better future for the marginalized communities in Papua New Guinea. Our mission is rooted in crisis intervention, education, and community development.
Our Impact:
Rescuing Children: We`re committed to getting children off the streets, especially those orphaned by HIV. These kids are provided safe homes and education.
Empowering Women: We offer a haven for homeless women battling HIV and TB, where they can learn to manage their illnesses and acquire life and job skills.
Education for All: Our future goal includes funding school tuition for students who are forced to drop out due to financial constraints or lack of local schools.
Did You Know?
70% of women in Papua New Guinea will experience rape in their lifetime.
School attendance rates are low, with many students facing tough journeys and inadequate educational facilities.
Nearly 60% of women and girls have faced physical sexual violence, almost twice the global average.
Our Vision:
To restore relationships, improve education, and reach the vulnerable - women, children, and families grappling with HIV/AIDS, TB, trafficking, and gender-based violence.
Who We Serve:
We stand with the most marginalized in Papua New Guinea - a diverse nation of 7.6 million people, speaking over 800 languages.

It`s been heart warming and inspiring to meet with churches, pastors, and individuals while we`ve been in the states, to share about our mission. We have also spent time with family reconnecting. ❤️
Our flight leaves a week from tomorrow. We can`t wait to see our family in Papua New Guinea once again and continue our work.
